Another sacerdotal service provided by the Coiled Splendour Sactuary is the cardinal sacrament of Confirmation. Those individuals who have obtained baptism and who have studied and accepted the Creed of the Gnostic Catholic Church may request Confirmation as a member of the EGC Laity.

As a Lay member the confirmand affirms a number of things:

• that their Will is in harmony with the work of the Gnostic Catholic Church;

• that they stand as a defender of the principles of this Æon;

• that they recognize themselves to be servants of the Sun, especially in his image as Ra-Hoor-Khuit.

Additionally, each member is encouraged, but in no way obligated, to participate as fully as they can in their Sanctuary’s maintenance and development.
