Bubastis Oasis offers initiation into the Minerval (A guest degree), and the three preliminary degrees of Ordo Templi Orientis.  Every man and woman who is free, of full age (18) and of good report, has an indefeasible right to the first three degrees of O.T.O.  These degrees can only be conferred through physical ceremonies of initiation. All initiatory rites are performed by an officially chartered initiator of the O.T.O.  Once an individual has received initiation into one or more of these degrees, they will be able to be recognized at any body of Ordo Templi Orientis in the world.

If it is your will to receive initiation into our most holy order, then speak with an officer, and acquire an application for the specific degree.  Taking initiations requires the signatures of two sponsors who are members in good standing and of, at least, the first degree, or the degree sought (whichever is higher).  These sponsors will most likely want to get to know you a bit as they are vouching for your character and intentions.  Sponsors are usually relatively easy to obtain.  Simply bring your application once filled out, to an event and talk with some members.  You are sure to find someone to vouch for you, if you are indeed sincere and fraternal with them.

Once you have filled out your application, and found your sponsors, you simply turn it in, along with the initiation fee which includes one year of US Grand Lodge dues.  Once the application is received by Grand Lodge, the initiation ceremony will be scheduled at an appropriate and convenient time.
